摘要：The Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomial of a matroid was introduced by Elias, Proudfoot and Wakefield, analogous to the classical Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomial of the symmetric group. Proudfoot pointed out that the Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials of matroids can also be considered as a special case of the Kazhdan-Lusztig-Stanley polynomials with respect to the incidence algebra of the lattice of flats. This point of view is very helpful for studying the matroid Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials. In this talk we will show how to use this to compute the Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials for uniform matroids.

简介：杨立波，南开大学教授，博士生导师。2004年毕业于南开大学组合数学中心，获理学博士学位；2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才；2015年获国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金项目资助。杨立波教授主要从事组合数学方面的研究，解决了包括美国科学院院士Richard Stanley教授提出的zrank猜想在内的多个公开问题。杨立波教授的成果发表在《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Intern. Math. Res. Notices》、《J. Combinatorial Theory Series, A》、《Adv. Appl. Math.》、《SIAM Discrete Math.》等重要数学期刊。
